Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

  • Departure from Marrakech in the morning via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) in the High Atlas Mountains

  • Stop at Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous ksar used in many films

  • Lunch in Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Desert”

  • Scenic drive through the Valley of the Roses and Skoura Oasis

  • Overnight in Dades Gorges at a local riad or kasbah

Day 2: Dades – Todgha Gorges – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi (Camel Trek)

  • Breakfast at the riad

  • Visit the dramatic Todgha Gorges, a favorite for climbers and photographers

  • Continue toward the desert via Erfoud and Rissani

  • Arrival in Merzouga by afternoon

  • Camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi during sunset

  • Arrive at a desert camp: traditional tents, Berber music, stargazing, and local dinner
    Overnight in the Sahara (nomadic-style or luxury camp)


Day 3: Merzouga – Alnif – Draa Valley – Marrakech

  • Early sunrise over the dunes (optional camel ride)

  • Breakfast at camp, then return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4

  • Journey back to Marrakech via Alnif, Tazzarine, and Draa Valley

  • Scenic stops along the Anti-Atlas Mountains

  • Arrive in Marrakech by evening

 

Accommodation

  • 1 night in a traditional Moroccan kasbah or riad in the Dades Valley (3★ or 4★)

  • 1 night in a desert camp in Erg Chebbi dunes

    • Options:

      • Standard Berber-style tents (shared bathroom)
